CareerStar is an early stage, woman founded New York based startup that provides personalized, data-driven and encouraging professional mentoring services. We are active in our community and believe inclusion and ideation come first in product development.
We are currently recruiting for a PAID internship position - Marketing & Social Media Intern. Be part of a fun, collaborative and innovative team that has already changed people's lives. This is a 4-5 hour a week time commitment for 3 months (excluding holiday break of course).
We’re looking for a (paid) dedicated Marketing & Social Media Intern who is passionate about developing content that helps people, while being part of a fun and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work with founder to build core brand media strategies to increase engagement and interactivity
- Create fun, functional and fabulous content for across platforms (Discord, TikTok/Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to improve performance
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to promote CareerStar’s services and events
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, queries and messages
- Coordinate with design team to ensure media assets are consistent
Qualifications:
- Experience growing a community in Discord/Instagram/etc.
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, Mailchimp a plus
- Video content creation/editing
- Optimism, enthusiasm and advocacy for the CareerStar vision a must!
